Fresh for 2011, the CUBE 20XL Bass guitar amp is hot-off-the-press. Despite its power the CUBE XL BASS amp remains travel friendly and extremely portable. The CUBE 20XL is like a guitar amp on steroids – it’s packed full of performance enhancing technologies including Rowland’s state-of-the-art FPP and COSM techs.
FFP (Feed Forward Processing) is a new-generation technology that controls the entire bass amp system. Each section (speaker, cabinet, amp) of the guitar amp is processed and analysed. The software then optimises the components so that they perform to their full capacity. All this happens in real-time! The end result of FFP technology is that it produces, high-powered dynamic sound that can exceed the output power specifications. It also allows the guitarist to hit those low notes with 100% accurate sound reproduction.
As mentioned earlier, the guitar amp also comes installed with Rolands, world-famous COSM (Composite Object Sound Modelling) technology. COSM emulates and virtually constructs the sounds of different amp models, effectively turning a single amp into many more! The Roland CUBE 20XL Bass comes with 6 COSM amp models.
The 20XL Bass guitar amp features 20 watts of power and is ideal for practise and small garage bands. It has a 8” custom speaker which produces more than enough sound. It comes with Reverb, Solo, Poly Octave, Chorus and Delay effects and a 3-band EQ. Roland have thought of everything – it even comes with a built-in Bass tuner.
